Acrylic (aka Acryglaze, Perspex or Plexiglas)

Acrylic (aka Perspex, Acryglaze or Plexiglas) is approximately 9 times stronger than glass and has about the same clarity (around 92-93% optically clear). Acrylic is about half the weight and very thermally efficient compared to glass. It is also an extremely versatile product with a large range of uses both indoors and out. It is found in markets from signage, fabrication and building through to very efficient  DIY internal double glazing.
